Benefits of Remodeling Your Bathroom
Sometimes your carpet is totally worn out. Or your flooring
is ruined from wear and tear or a puppy that might’ve had his way with it (we
don’t know anything about that). In
those cases, it’s a no brainer to replace your flooring. But when it comes to
remodeling a space, it can be a decision that you feel could go either way.
If you’re on the fence, we can offer some benefits to
remodel a bathroom in your home. Check out our tips below:
1.
Get an
energy-efficient space. Your current appliances and fixtures are likely to
be outdated. Once you install newer, items in your bathroom, you’re likely to
save hundreds of dollars using energy-efficient appliances and fixtures (and
re-insulating) and 17,000 gallons of water per year.
2.
Make your
home more marketable. Studies have shown that home buyers prefer homes with
updated bathrooms and kitchens, which means, when you’re looking to sell, your
home will sell quicker than your neighbor’s house with a totally outdated
bathroom.
3.
Add more
space. It’s not 100% of the time that we change the design layout of a
bathroom in a remodel, but when we do, we always consider creating as much
space as possible for the homeowners. Other times, when our customers are not
looking to change the layout, we can still create the feel of more space by
using modern techniques like open shelving and storage racks.
4.
Build a
space that’s “you.” There’s a chance your bathroom hasn’t been remodeled
since you’ve moved into your home. It might still feel a little bit like the
previous owners. Or maybe this is your second (or third!) go round at a remodel
– in that case, your style has likely changed over the years and your bathroom
needs to reflect who are you today.
5.
Add more
luxurious and modern features. We are fortunate enough to live in the 21st
century when new technology and advances spring up every day. We have access to
the newest features for bathrooms – from beautifully unique flooring to
lighting to heated floors and beyond. Your bathroom should be a retreat in your
own home, and we love creating that for our customers.
No matter what you’re looking to do for your bathroom, we can
do it all. We have complimentary
designers in house to help you choose your finishings if you feel lost or you
can work directly with our team members to tell them exactly what you’re
looking for. As always, our goal is to help you fall in love again with your
home.
